Genetic analyses to know your health hazards
With only a small saliva sample, Therawin will decipher your DNA and analyse your genetic background for disease risks.
Your genes and variants in your DNA will be compared to libraries and a unique algorithms will calculate your risks for certain diseases, based on published and company partner own databases.
We are using a technology developed in South Korea by renown experts in the field.
Our databases have been developed using large cohorts of Asian genomes and therefore have high accuracy.
The results are communicated to you as easy to understand reports designed for non-medical users.
What can I get from a HealthSCAN analysis?
HealthSCAN is a platform that will analyse your genes from an easy & pain-free to collect sample of saliva. Therawin currently offers 5 different analyses (more will be provided in the future).
HealthSCAN analyses:
Hereditary cancers – HealthSCAN will examine your potential risk for 19* different hereditary cancers that account for up to 10% of all cancer cases.
Hereditary cardiovascular diseases – HealthSCAN will examine your potential risk for 14* different hereditary cardiovascular diseases.
Chronic diseases risk prediction test – HealthSCAN will calculates your risk score for 13* different types of cancers and 10 chronic diseases highly common in Asian populations.
Personalised drug response – HealthSCAN will predict your responsiveness to 38 commonly prescribed
drugs, based on your genome.
Personalised weight management – HealthSCAN will provides an effective weight management plan by suggesting personalised diet & exercise routine; you will get insights of your response to food and your micronutrient deficiency risk.
